Svend Thougaard

Svend Thougaard (born 1942) has worked at Synscenter Refsnæs - The Danish Centre for Visual Impairment, Children and Youth for more than 30 years. He specializes in the written language for the visually impaired, Braille in several languages and levels.
Svend is one of the key persons in the development og 8 dot Braille, log text, SB4 and RoboBraille. Svend is working as a consultant for Synscenter Refsnæs, where you can find him on a daily basis.
Svend is a member of the Danish Braille Board.
