Methodology

Sensus services are provided on a professional and independent basis. Sensus evaluates accessibility to web sites and is furthermore available to discuss accessibility issues with organizations and web agencies and other Internet solution providers.

The web accessibility services are based on the national and international guidelines for accessible web design developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines - links to external website). Additionally, Sensus works with a wide network of people with special needs to ensure the validity of the services provided.

Sensus co-operates with the Danish IT and Telecom Agency (links to external website) to ensure the accessibility, usability and quality of public sector and private sector web sites. Sensus participates actively in national and international standardisation efforts on the subject.
