Technology development

Sensus’ development activities support an inclusive information society. Our innovation solutions, aimed at people who are print- or reading impaired, covers technology which simplifies the production of materials in alternative formats and makes the access to information in the public domain possible.

Sensus has developed the award winning RoboBraille service, in cooperation with The Danish Centre for Visual Impairment, Children and Youth (Synscenter Refsnaes). RoboBraille is an email-based solution capable of translating documents into alternative formats such as speech and Braille.

Sensus has developed similar solutions for the pharmaceutical sector, including Braille embossing on pharmaceutical packaging. In addition, Sensus has developed account statements in Braille for the financial sector.
Furthermore, Sensus develops mobile solutions for the dyslexic, people with poor reading skills and the illiterate.
